LSCH Batizado: An Evening of Capoeira, Expertise & Culture
Join us for a special LSCH Batizado, bringing together an exceptional group of Capoeira practitioners, instructors and Masters for an evening celebrating the skill, discipline, history and cultural richness of this unique art form.
Taking place from 7:00–8:30pm at the Main Centre, the event will feature Capoeira guests from across Europe, alongside LSCH instructors and Contra Mestres, creating a unique gathering of experienced professionals and practitioners.
The Batizado is an important occasion in the development of Capoeira students, providing an opportunity for students to demonstrate their progress and receive their next graduation under the guidance of experienced instructors and visiting practitioners. The evening offers a rare opportunity to observe different levels of expertise, playing styles and approaches within the Capoeira tradition.
Expect an energetic programme featuring Capoeira music, rodas, exciting games and demonstrations of technical skill and craftsmanship. The discipline, coordination, musicality and organisation behind Capoeira will all be on display, offering an insight into the depth and sophistication of the art beyond its physical movements.
