Capoeira Class timetable

All classes are led by Masters Silvia and Marcos, or by London School of Capoeira instructors who have been trained and are guided by the Masters, ensuring a consistent teaching approach and high standard of instruction.

Monday 7:00–8:30 PM

Extended Regular Capoeira Class

Suitable for students of all levels.

This longer session includes:

  • Warm-up and mobility

  • Conditioning and strength

  • Independent training

  • Partner training

  • Roda practice

  • Acrobatic movements

The extended session provides additional time to refine techniques, develop combinations, and deepen your Capoeira game.

Tuesday 7:00–8:00 PM

Beginners' Capoeira Course

Designed for complete beginners and students wishing to strengthen their foundations.

This structured course focuses on:

  • Basic Capoeira movements

  • London School of Capoeira fundamentals

  • Essential techniques and coordination

  • Introduction to Capoeira music and culture

  • No previous experience is required.

Tuesday 8:00–9:00 PM

Capoeira Music

Develop your musical skills and understanding of the Capoeira roda.

Students will:

  • Learn the four core instruments used in Capoeira

  • Improve their Berimbau playing

  • Practise rhythms, songs, and ensemble playing

Students who are completely new to the Berimbau are encouraged to attend a separate beginner Berimbau course, which will be arranged periodically.

Thursday 8:00–9:00 PM

Live Roda

Experience Capoeira in its traditional setting by taking part in a live roda.

During this session we:

  • Set up the full bateria with the eight instruments used in the Capoeira roda

  • Play live Capoeira music

  • Practise singing and rhythm

  • Take part in traditional Capoeira games

This class is an excellent opportunity to build confidence, improve your musicality, and experience the energy and traditions of Capoeira in a live setting.
